G. Grant Dixon III is the founder of the Dixon Law Office located in the Chicago suburb of LaGrange. As a trial lawyer, he represents plaintiffs in all forms of personal injury, wrongful death and business litigation matters. His cases have included automobile accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, slip-and-fall cases, product liability, chemical exposures, airplane crashes and hundreds of others. Grant has represented victims in many high-profile cases. Before starting Dixon Law Office, Grant was a litigator at Corboy & Demetrio in Chicago for nearly 10 years. He is a former judicial clerk to The Honorable Charles R. Norgle, Sr., of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Grant is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and many Federal courts. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and has been accepted to practice before courts in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, handling cases there and many other states from New York to California. He has argued hundreds of cases in a variety of State and Federal courts. Grant is presently or has been a member of many bar associations including the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association just to name a few. He has served in leadership in nearly every bar association he has ever been a member of. Grant's fellow lawyers have recognized his accomplishments with many awards including the prestigious "40 Under 40" group and Leading Lawyers. Each of these awards is given to less than five percent of all lawyers and it is very rare that one lawyer earns both awards.
Grant is also committed to public service and charitable work. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Western Springs and twice served as President. He has volunteered countless hours on boards and advisory panels at LaGrange Memorial Hospital, a member of the Adventist Health System. He is an Elder at Christ Church of Oak Brook and serves in chair of two committees at this large church in Oak Brook, Illinois. Grant has volunteered his time as a guest lecturer and speaker more than 50 times to churches, clubs and schools. He has written or co-authored more than 30 articles and chapters for many publications. Grant has been featured in dozens of newspaper and magazine stories in the U.S. and internationally for his legal work. He has appeared on national television and radio shows discussing his practice.

Cathy P.
Cathy joined the Dixon Law Office team in November of 2004. She started with basic administrative functions. Over time, Cathy’s responsibilities have grown tremendously. She now supervises the complex document management for the firm as well as internal office administration and coordination. Cathy is a detail-oriented person who has a keen eye for the bottom line. She helps manage the cash-flow in the office and handles assorted accounts payable duties. When a case comes to trial, Cathy plays a critical role. When a case settles, Cathy helps assure the client’s funds are managed properly. She is a very valuable member of the Dixon Law Office team.
Prior to joining Dixon Law Office, Cathy worked at Bell Federal Savings and Loan in Chicago. While there, she held the title of Assistant Treasurer in the financial department where her primary job was managing the accounting for out-of-state purchased and participation loans.
Cathy has been married for twenty-five years and has four children. She is active in her church as well as the schools of her children.
Linda J.
Linda joined the Dixon Law Office team in September 2005 as a legal assistant. Her primary job duties include initial drafting of correspondence, opening new cases, preparing complaints to be filed in court, issuance of summons, and work on various pleadings. She also assists with the training of new co-workers.
Prior to joining Dixon Law Office, Linda worked at Piper Rudnick and Pretzel & Stouffer. Linda is a critical member of the Dixon Law Office team.
Samantha S.
Samantha is a paralegal at Dixon Law Office. She joined our team in March 2008. Her primary job duties and responsibilities include managing the complex Worker’s Compensation cases, helping to draft and file written discovery, scheduling depositions and meetings as they pertain to discovery, trial preparation, and corresponding with clients and other legal professionals. Her communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time are used every day.
Samantha is married and has two young children. She is such a valued team member, Dixon Law Office has allowed her to work a flexible schedule to give her more time with her family.
Prior to joining the Dixon Law Office team, Samantha worked for two other law firms, the Department of Child & Family Services, and Trinity Christian College. When she has any free time at all, she spends it with her family.
Margarita R.
Margarita joined the Dixon Law Office team in 2011. Margarita is one of the assistants at Dixon Law Office who manages cases after litigation starts. Her job duties and responsibilities include propounding and answering written discovery, scheduling depositions, trial work, and assist office personnel. She has more than 10 years of legal experience. With such vast knowledge of litgation and the legal process, she is able to assist the attorneys in all aspects of the cases. She is a team player, working well with others and always willing to help and do what needs to be done to fight for clients’ rights. Before joining the Dixon Law Office team, she worked for Anthony J. Peraica& Associates, Ltd. In her free time, Margarita enjoys all sorts of activities with her family, exercising, and the outdoors.
Samantha A.
Samantha is the newest edition to the Dixon Law Office team, joining in 2012. Samantha has worked for other lawyers in the past and in a variety of other jobs. Her primary role at Dixon Law Office is to help manage the many worker's compensation cases. She also helps with written discovery, scheduling depositions, and trial work. Other than her legal work, Samantha has worked as a certified Spanish interpreter, receptionist and, most recently, as a manager at Red Mango.
Jim P.
Jim is an extraordinary addition to the Dixon Law Office staff. He joined our team in 2011 and made an immediate impact. Jim now manages the complex digital document system at Dixon Law Office. He also organizes and manages nearly every piece of paper in this busy firm. In his spare time, he attends high school as well as his church’s youth group and is a fantastic baseball player, year-round. He is a great addition to our Dixon Law Office family and we are proud to have him.
